Did the Spurs win this game because of Wembanyama’s dominance, or because the Thunder couldn’t close late?

Honestly? Both — but Wembanyama is the reason those two things overlapped.

The Thunder didn’t suddenly forget how to play basketball in the last few minutes. They just ran into a 7’4” problem that erased shots, rushed decisions, and made every drive feel like a bad idea. Late game, OKC looked unsure… because Wemby was everywhere.

So yes, the Thunder struggled to close — but mostly because Wembanyama turned crunch time into a no-fly zone.
